Dr. Kevin J Soncrant , DVM


Kevin J. Soncrant

A 1981 Clay High School graduate, Kevin married his high school sweetheart and they headed to The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in the College of Agriculture in 1985. His first of two daughters, Heather, was born during his junior year in undergrad.

He was accepted to The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985 and four years later graduated earning the title of DVM. His second daughter, Missy, was born during his junior year of veterinary college.

Dr. Soncrant practiced veterinary medicine in several small animal practices before purchasing his father- in- law's (Dr. William Iman) practice in 1996. From the very beginning Dr. Soncrant , his family, and staff at Maumee Bay Veterinary Hospital have been dedicated to giving clients and their pets progressive, compassionate, personal care.

Dr. Soncrant and his wife Deb live east of Oregon on a small farm with their dogs Brutus and Cally, and their numerous koi. He enjoys family time, wetland restoration projects, observing and photographing wildlife, snorkeling, spinning, fishing, and of course, cheering on the Buckeyes. Go Bucks!
